Mama Roseline believed education could change a person's life. Unfortunately, the beliefs of her time stood in the way of her educational aspirations. Her father believed that a woman's place was in the kitchen. But Roseline did not allow those limitations to destroy her desire for knowledge. Whenever she had the opportunity, she quietly joined classes and sought to learn. Although her own educational journey was interrupted, she later placed great importance on educating and training her children through books, prayer and wisdom.

Mama Roseline married her beloved husband, Pa Joseph Okorie Igweonyia Ngene of Ameke, Amigbo, Ozalla. Together, they built a home and raised their children. But tragedy came early. The death of her husband left Mama Roseline a young widow with the responsibility of raising her children. Rather than surrender to hardship, she worked. She sold goods. She farmed. She pursued whatever honest work she could find. Then came more painful losses. She lost her mother and her eldest son. Her businesses also experienced difficult seasons. Yet through every storm, Mama Roseline continued to stand.

In the year 2000, Mama Roseline began attending Amazing Love Church, where she gave her life to Christ. Her faith became the foundation from which she lived. She did not simply profess her faith. She served. She cleaned. She cut grasses. She helped maintain the church. She willingly took on responsibilities that others might have considered insignificant. Her life demonstrated that service is not about status. It is about willingness.

In 2012, Mama Roseline suffered another devastating loss when her second son died. Yet even through grief, her faith remained. She continued to hold on to God, continued to praise and continued to serve. And she continued to declare: "IT SHALL NOT STAND."
